This is cool: The West Wing wins Drama Series of the Year at the 2001 TV Guide Awards. (TV Guide didn’t give out awards for too many years, but this was one of them.) Dule Hill gets to make the acceptance speech, and he and Martin Sheen do the handshake that Laurence Fishburne taught Sheen while they were filming “Apocalypse Now.”

The best episode of The West Wing, and one of the best episodes of television I’ve ever seen, if not the best.
